Invite the application
Use the Invite Protect button and select a server where you have Manage Server permission.

Prepare a private channel
Create a staff-only channel for Protect alerts and review notifications.

Run /setup configure
Choose the alert channel, reviewer role, whether to screen new members, the retention period, and accept the legal terms.

Verify with /setup status
Confirm the server is enabled and that member screening remains alert-only.
- 05
Remove cleanly
Run /setup disable before removing the bot to stop alerts and preserve an auditable configuration change.
